Tbilisi City Tour & Excursion in Mtskheta

Mtskheta, Shiomgvime & Ananuri Church 

Itinerary: Excursion to Mtskheta with visits to Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery. Trip to Shiomgvime Monastery near Mtskheta. Continue along Georgian Military Highway to Ananuri Fortress. Return Tbilisi.

Kakheti Trip

Itinerary: Trip to Sighnagi hill-town. Walk in the town. Also, visit St. Nina Monastery of Bodbe. Visit Tsinandali Park. Arrive in Telavi. Sightseeing tour in Telavi. Optional visit to one of the wineries around Telavi where you can taste some of the best  sorts of Georgian wines. Excursion to Ikalto Monastery and Alaverdi Cathedral. Return to Tbilisi.

David Gareji Monastery          

Itinerary: David Gareji is situated deep in semi-desert south-east of Tbilisi.  The Monasteries were founded in the 6^th century by the Christian Father St. David.  Visit  Lavra. Walk up to Udabno to see some of the fine frescos of the 8th-13th c. and cave architecture. Walk down. Return to Tbilisi.

Itinerary: Excursion to David Gareji Monastery. Walk up to "Udabno" to see frescos of the 8th-13th c. and cave architecture. Walk down. Visit "Lavra". Trip to fortified walled hill-top town of Signagi. Visit the town. Return to Tbilisi.

Wine Tour in Kakheti     

Itinerary: Day 1: Trip to Kakheti region. Stop in Signagi to visit a wine cellar. Arrive in Kindzmarauli. Visit the winery. En route to Telavi visit Gremi. Arrive in Telavi. Dinner with wine. Overnight in Telavi. Day 2: Short sightseeing of Telavi. Visit at least two wineries in and around Telavi. Excursion to some of the major architectural monuments. Return to Tbilisi.

Georgian Military Highway and  Kazbegi  

Itinerary: Trip along Georgian Military Highway, north from Tbilisi, to Kazbegi (160km), by crossing the Main Caucasian Range at Jvari Pass (2395m.). On the road a short stop at Ananuri Fortress. Arrival Kazbegi (1700m). Explore the area and enjoy the views of Mt. Kazbek (5047m). Walk up to Gergeti Sameba Church. Detour to Dariali Canyon. Return Tbilisi.

Georgian Military Highway and  Kazbegi  

Itinerary: Day 1: Trip along Georgian Military Highway, to Kazbegi by crossing the Main Caucasian Range at Jvari Pass (2395m.). (Optional visit of Mtskheta). On the road visit Ananuri Fortress. Itinerary: Day 1: Trip along Georgian Military Highway by crossing the Main Caucasian Range at Jvari Pass down to Kazbegi area. Drive through Truso Valley and explore the area. Possible hiking 2 to 3 hours. Arrive in Kazbegi. Walk up to Gergeti Church. Overnight in Kazbegi.  Day 2: Trip through the beautiful Sno Valley to reach village Juta. Take 2 to 4 hour hiking in the Chaukhi Mountains. Return to the car. Drive to Tbilisi. Optional visits to Ananuri architectural complex or Mtskheta. Arrive in Tbilisi. End of the trip.

Hotel.  Day 2: Trip north from Kazbegi to Gveleti Gorge. Take 2 to 5 hour trek. Drive through Sno Valley to reach village Juta and enjoy a short hiking into the circuit of the Chaukhi Mountains. Return to Kazbegi. Hotel.  Day 3: Drive to Gudauri. Take downhill trek through the Khada Valley. Meet transport. Arrive in Tbilisi.

Take half day walk to visit village Parsma. Return to Dartlo. Day 3: Morning visit village of Shenako and Diklo. Drive back to Tbilisi. Arrive in Tbilisi.
