The itinerary gives an excellent insight into Georgia, its ancient history, medieval churches, culture and diversity of landscape, From the heart of the Caucasian Mountains, to the wine-growing countryside of Kakheti. We also take trip to the forested valleys of South Georgia and the Gareji semi-desert.  The climax is the trip to Svaneti province in the heart of the Central Caucasus surrounded by mighty 5000 metre peaks, We explore the remote villages lying at their feet, admire their unique towers. We drive far away from modern civilization deep into the remotest mountains.

Outline Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive Tbilisil. Day 2: Full day city tour of Tbilisi. Day 3: Excursion to Mtskheta. Continue trip along the river Aragvi Valley and Georgian Military Highway. On the road visit the Ananuri architectural complex. Arrive in Kazbegi. Day 4: Walk in the area and enjoy the views of Mt Kazbek. Optional trip to Sno or Truso valley. Day 5: Trip to Bakuriani. En route visit Gori and Uplistsikhe. Day 6: Excursion to Vardzia cave-monastery. On the way stop at Khertvisi fortress. Return to Bakuriani. Day 7: Trip to Kutaisi. Visit Gelati and Bagrati Temples. Night in Kutaisi. Day 8: Drive to Svaneti. We reach Mestia, provincial centre of Svaneti. Mestia is surrounded by huge Caucasian mountains Ushba (4710m) and Tetnuldi (4975m) – some of the most severe and beautiful summits of the Caucasus. Day 9: Explore Mestia and surroundings. Day 10: Drive to village Ushguli. Visit the village, its medieval towers, Lamaria Church and enjoy the views of Mt. Shkhara (5201m). Return to Mestia. Day 11: Trip back to Tbilisi. Day 12: Excursion to David Gareji Monastery. Walk up to Udabno Monastery, known for its unique frescos. Visit Signagi hill-town. Night in Telavi. Day 13:  Excursions in Kakheti: Tsinandali Park; Visit Gremi, Alaverdi Cathedral, Shuamta Monastery. Optional visit to a winery. Return to Tbilisi. Day 14: Free day in Tbilisi. Day 15: End of the tour.
